Our Children Foundation was created by ArcelorMittal Poland S.A. on December 15th 2010 and registered in KRS on February 7th 2011under KRS number: 0000377619.
The mission of Foundation is to support the development, upbringing and education of children and young people in the Polish Republic, with particular emphasis on the Silesian and Małopolska areas.
The primary statutory objective is to act in education and upbringing of children and young people by i.a. establishing, operating, equipping, maintenance, management and administration of corporate kindergartens.
Our Children Foundation takes care of ArcelorMittal Poland kindergartens in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Krakow. Both kindergartens are a response to the reported by the parents (employees of ArcelorMittal Poland SA) numerous signals of lack of places in public kindergartens, confirmed by a survey.
The kindergarten in Dąbrowa Górnicza started its operations on September 1st 2011. The kindergarten in Krakow started its opeartions on September 1st 2012. Every kindergarten can accept up to 100 children aged 2.5 to 6 years. Education in ArcelorMittal Poland private kindergartens means creation of sensitivity towards aesthetic values in music, visual arts and other fields of art, through the expanded program of activities which results in the formation of a certain level of aesthetic culture of the child. This includes activities such as art, music, dance, theater and literature as well as other activities required by education law, English classes and sports activities.
In autumn 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 there were surveys on parents satisfaction. Almost 100% of parents were satisfied with educational services provided and 100% of parents would recommend our kindergarten to their friends.
